Greetings NJB Families, We look forward to welcoming all players back to the court for the 2022-2023 NJB Winter season. Registration is now open for all age groups; Kinder to 8th. Mandatory player evaluations for Grades 3 to 8 will take place on the weekend of Sep 17-18, 2022. Exact times for each division will be released as we get closer. We currently plan to have a full competitive NJB season. We have access to gyms and we have guidance from the county that will allow us to have a full competitive season. As such, registration will look similar to how it did pre-pandemic. Players will fully register on the site (including payments), which will place them into a pool of players that can be drafted onto teams. If we have enough coaches, then everyone in the draft pool should be able to play.  We need coaches!!! Almaden NJB is 100% volunteer organization - from board members to coaches - with the goal of having kids of all levels get the experience and joy from playing basketball on a team. We heavily rely on parents who step up and become coaches. At some point, as divisions fill up, we need to start moving new registrants to a waitlist. This typically happens due to lack of coaches for a particular division. As you sign-up your player, please also consider volunteering as a head or assistant coach.
